Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Night shift availability required (must be willing to work late nights and early mornings).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
