Job Summary:
As a CDL A Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the Charlotte metro area and surrounding regions. You will represent our brand with the highest level of professionalism and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers to deliver freight to designated customer locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen clear.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review.
- Strong knowledge of road conditions and navigation in the Charlotte area.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late nights if needed.
