Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Baltimore's night routes efficiently
- Load/unload packages with precision and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A/B) or clean Class C license
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area streets and landmarks
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
