Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential/commercial locations across San Jose
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet time targets
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Uphold company standards for safety and package integrity
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with San Jose streets
- Availability to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to/from depot location
- Pass background check and drug screening
