Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or medical supplies throughout Kansas City metropolitan area during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle (vans or box trucks) to ensure road-readiness and compliance with safety standards
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and fuel savings
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delivery status, delays, or route obstacles
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols during all driving operations
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures at warehouse and customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience (CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficient with smartphone apps and basic navigation technology
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
