Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across New Orleans
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize routes for efficiency during overnight hours
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when required
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans streets and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication
- Reliable transportation to and from depot
- Pass background and drug screening
