Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across Omaha metropolitan area
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using GPS tracking systems
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Navigate efficiently using optimized routing software
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Omaha street networks preferred
