Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages across Raleigh metropolitan area during overnight shifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Verify shipment contents and signatures upon delivery
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Adapt routes efficiently using GPS navigation and real-time traffic data
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Raleigh roads
- Flexibility to work 11 PM - 7 AM shifts with rotating weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Reliable transportation to/from starting location
- Pass background check and drug screening
