Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, and essential goods across Columbus metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking systems for real-time route optimization
- Verify recipient identities and handle cash transactions securely when required
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols during night operations
- Provide exceptional customer service during late-night interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate multi-level buildings
- Strong knowledge of Columbus streets and major highways
- Availability to work 11 PM - 7 AM, including weekends and holidays
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as per DOT regulations
