Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and sensitive documents between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control for time-sensitive medical shipments
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and chain-of-custody protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet urgent deadlines
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain sterile transport conditions
- Document all deliveries with digital tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience in medical/healthcare logistics preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled units
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and biohazard handling
