Responsibilities
- Securely transport medical specimens, blood products, and sensitive materials using climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and ensure cleanliness of transport units
- Utilize GPS tracking systems to optimize routes and meet delivery time windows
- Handle emergency STAT deliveries with urgency and professionalism
- Complete electronic manifests and incident reports accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare logistics experience preferred
