Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and critical supplies between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control for time-sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Document all deliveries with electronic tracking and maintain chain-of-custody logs
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data security
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintain clean, sanitized transport units
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs with medical packages
- Reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to use company vehicle)
- Strong attention to detail and punctuality for time-sensitive deliveries
- Basic familiarity with medical terminology (training provided)
