Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment with strict adherence to HIPAA and biohazard protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time tracking documentation
- Coordinate with hospital staff, clinics, and laboratories for seamless handoffs
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain optimal cleanliness of transport units
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with time-sensitive precision
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route optimization
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- 1+ years of delivery or medical transport experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical handling procedures
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
