Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, medications, and equipment using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking documentation
- Adhere to strict HIPAA protocols and biohazard handling procedures
- Optimize daily routes for maximum efficiency and punctuality
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and quality control inspections
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1-year medical courier or healthcare logistics experience
- OSHA bloodborne pathogen certification preferred
- Strong time management and GPS navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
