Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab results, and critical supplies between healthcare facilities
- Maintain precise temperature control for sensitive materials during transit
- Complete detailed delivery documentation and electronic tracking systems
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and biohazard handling protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility staff
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries across Northern Nevada
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and handling protocols
- Pass background check and drug screening
