Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and sensitive materials in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain strict chain of custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for timely hospital/lab pickups/drop-offs
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before each shift
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facilities and patients
- Monitor inventory levels and report supply chain discrepancies
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Medical courier or healthcare logistics experience preferred
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with mobile technology and route optimization apps
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screen required
- Remote work capability with reliable internet access
