Responsibilities
- Securely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab materials using temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for sensitive patient data
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Coordinate with hospital staff and medical facilities for timely pickups/deliveries
- Manage efficient routes to meet strict delivery time windows
- Document delivery exceptions and incident reports
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical or high-security courier services
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Strong knowledge of Cincinnati roadways and traffic patterns
- Certification in bloodborne pathogens and medical waste handling preferred
- Proficient with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
