Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, documents, and equipment to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories safely and on time.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the delivery vehicle and medical supplies.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and company safety protocols during deliveries.
- Update delivery logs and electronic tracking systems accurately and efficiently.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks before starting shifts.
- Handle sensitive materials with the highest level of care and discretion.
- Ensure punctual arrival at all drop-off points to maintain workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and checking GPS.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be available for early morning or evening shifts as required.
