Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport sensitive medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and laboratory equipment across the Madison metro area and surrounding regions.
- Maintain strict adherence to temperature-controlled environments and regulatory compliance standards (HIPAA, OSHA, DOT).
- Utilize handheld GPS technology to optimize routes and ensure on-time deliveries with 100% accuracy.
- Document all deliveries accurately in our proprietary dispatch system and maintain accurate mileage logs.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards daily, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Provide exceptional customer service to hospital staff, clinics, and laboratory partners.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (Class A/B may be considered for larger vehicles).
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with mobile devices.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
