Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and sensitive materials using climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody protocols and HIPAA compliance for all shipments
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
- Document all transfers using digital tracking systems and maintain detailed logs
- Perform vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance to ensure operational readiness
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners during critical time-sensitive deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical/transportation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA/GMP standards
- Proficient with mobile technology for route navigation and documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening as required for medical transport
