Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, documents, and equipment to various healthcare facilities within the Nashville metro area in a timely and secure manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked vehicle at all times to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Adhere to strict chain-of-custody protocols when handling sensitive medical materials.
- Provide excellent customer service to hospital staff and clinic administrators upon delivery.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Utilize GPS technology to optimize delivery routes and manage time efficiently.
- Keep accurate logs of deliveries and mileage as required by company policy.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and reporting apps.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash or digital transactions if applicable.
- A valid form of identification (e.g., Social Security Card or Passport).
