Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and sensitive documents to and from medical facilities using company vehicles.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs, including times, signatures, and proof of delivery via handheld scanning devices.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and company protocols regarding the handling of confidential patient information.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is always in safe operating condition.
- Handle all customer interactions at drop-off points professionally, ensuring a positive experience for healthcare staff.
- Manage multiple stops efficiently to ensure on-time delivery of time-sensitive medical supplies.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or safety concerns to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Reliable access to a registered, insured vehicle (company vehicle available for some roles).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in logging deliveries.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate mobile scanning applications.
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
