Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceutical supplies between healthcare facilities using climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain of custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Coordinate with hospital staff, labs, and clinics for efficient pickup/delivery scheduling
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Handle temperature-sensitive materials with precision and care
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling protocols
- Proficiency with mobile technology and route navigation apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by healthcare regulations
- Reliable transportation to/from shift locations
