Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and sensitive healthcare materials in temperature-controlled containers
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and biohazard handling protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Perform vehicle pre/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Coordinate with medical facilities to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and courier equipment
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and smartphone technology
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling and transport regulations
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous medical or logistics experience preferred
