Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, blood samples, and documents to medical facilities, labs, and clinics within the Los Angeles area.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations, confidentiality standards, and safety protocols during every trip.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Log trip details accurately using company GPS and mobile applications to track delivery times and routes.
- Handle temperature-sensitive materials with care, ensuring proper storage conditions are maintained.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and dispatch teams to resolve any delivery issues or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- GPS-enabled smartphone (Android or iOS) is required for route tracking.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and verifying proof of delivery.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
