Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment to laboratories, hospitals, and clinics with precision and care.
- Maintain strict compliance with FDA regulations, HIPAA privacy laws, and DOT safety standards.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Accurately log delivery data and maintain digital records of all transactions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and demonstrate safe driving habits at all times.
- Communicate effectively with facility staff and dispatch regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor with a focus on customer service.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and logging.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
