Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled packaging
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation to ensure on-time deliveries
- Perform vehicle inspections, fueling, and basic maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service to hospital staff, clinics, and labs
- Utilize electronic tracking systems for real-time delivery monitoring
- Respond promptly to urgent/emergency delivery requests
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and navigate hospital environments
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and route optimization software
- Background check and drug screen required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in medical/pharmaceutical delivery preferred
