Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain strict chain of custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely, secure transport across medical facilities
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness/sanitation standards
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean record and reliable vehicle
- 1+ years of courier or medical transport experience preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and biohazard handling protocols
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Background check and drug screen required
