The Role
As a Medical Courier, you will act as the face of our company, representing the highest standards of integrity and reliability. You will be entrusted with sensitive medical data and specimens, requiring the utmost professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, documents, and equipment to various healthcare facilities, laboratories, and medical centers.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and company confidentiality standards regarding patient data.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, including cleaning the interior and checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
- Update delivery tracking systems and log delivery times accurately to ensure timely reporting.
- Interact professionally with hospital staff, lab technicians, and clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash and card transactions for drop-offs when applicable.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic proficiency with handheld scanners and GPS navigation systems.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to use a company-provided vehicle or personal vehicle.
- Must be available for early morning and evening shifts.
