Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and chain-of-custody documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for timely pickups/drop-offs
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and basic maintenance
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA compliance protocols
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions to dispatch team
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and packaging materials
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean record (3+ years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
