Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and hospital records with the highest level of confidentiality and care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols regarding driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to hospital staff, clinics, and patients.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Accurately log delivery data into the dispatch system using handheld devices.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong punctuality and time-management skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Basic proficiency with handheld GPS devices and smartphones.
