Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, pharmaceuticals, and surgical equipment between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain precise temperature control for sensitive materials using specialized containers
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and chain-of-custody documentation procedures
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of transport equipment
- Provide real-time delivery status updates through our proprietary tracking system
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to coordinate urgent and scheduled pickups/deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate medical facilities with equipment
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling protocols (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Proficient with mobile technology and route navigation apps
