Responsibilities
- Secure Transport: Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals to hospitals, clinics, and testing facilities.
- Punctuality: Adhere to strict time windows and delivery schedules to ensure the integrity of temperature-sensitive materials.
- Documentation: Accurately complete chain-of-custody forms, delivery receipts, and vehicle logs.
- Vehicle Care: Maintain the cleanliness of your delivery vehicle and perform routine pre-trip inspections.
- Regulatory Compliance: Follow all local traffic laws, OSHA safety guidelines, and company protocols.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with hospital staff and patients.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no DUIs or serious infractions).
- Experience: Previous courier, delivery, or logistics experience is a plus, but not required as training is provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Vehicle Access: Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
