Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and sensitive documents in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate with medical facilities, labs, and pharmacies for timely pickups/deliveries
- Perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance to ensure operational readiness
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for handling hazardous materials and biohazards
- Utilize GPS routing systems to optimize delivery routes and minimize transit time
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical or logistics field
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate in all weather conditions
- Proficient with mobile tracking technology and digital documentation
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
