Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and documents to and from medical facilities, hospitals, and laboratories.
- Adhere to strict temperature control requirements and safety protocols for biohazard materials.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery times, addresses, and signature receipts using handheld scanners.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Handle packages with extreme care to prevent damage and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and handheld scanning devices is a plus.
