Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain precise delivery logs and HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Adhere to strict temperature control protocols for sensitive materials
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/delivery scheduling
- Perform routine vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Resolve delivery exceptions with proactive communication
- Uphold infection control standards during all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled units
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proficient with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
