Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment to healthcare facilities following strict protocols
- Maintain temperature-controlled environments for sensitive materials during transit
- Document deliveries using electronic tracking systems and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and pharmacies for efficient route planning
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper equipment sanitation
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with urgency and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical transport or logistics
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate medical facilities
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile tracking systems
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screening required
