Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceuticals between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Document all transfers using electronic tracking systems and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and biohazard safety standards
- Coordinate with medical facilities to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean, organized transport units
- Resolve delivery exceptions with proactive communication and problem-solving
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical background preferred
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly
- Proficient in using mobile apps and digital tracking systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Pass background check and drug screening
