Responsibilities
- Securely pick up and deliver medical specimens, blood samples, and documents to designated laboratories and medical facilities.
- Adhere strictly to all time-sensitive delivery windows and protocols to ensure patient sample integrity.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Verify all deliveries with proper signatures and logging in the digital tracking system.
- Handle sensitive materials with discretion and strict confidentiality.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff and dispatch regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 5 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 25 lbs occasionally.
