Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain temperature-controlled environments for sensitive materials
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and chain-of-custody protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Complete detailed documentation and electronic tracking for all shipments
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Basic knowledge of medical handling procedures and biohazard protocols
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
