Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, blood samples, and diagnostic equipment to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories in the Portland metro area.
- Adhere strictly to temperature control requirements (refrigeration) to ensure specimen integrity.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date delivery logs and electronic documentation.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the fleet is road-ready.
- Follow strict protocols regarding patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to medical staff and facility personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (CDL not required but preferred for larger loads).
- Must possess a clean driving record (no DUIs or major infractions within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate Portland traffic efficiently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
