Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, organs, and pharmaceutical supplies to healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive shipments using specialized containers
- Adhere to HIPAA protocols and chain-of-custody procedures for all medical materials
- Utilize GPS navigation to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Complete delivery documentation with electronic signature capture
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service to hospital staff and clinic personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- 1+ year experience in medical logistics or healthcare transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and navigate stairs
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling protocols
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
