Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, blood products, pharmaceuticals, and lab supplies in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic tracking systems
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data protection
- Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks daily
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities to optimize delivery routes and timing
- Handle hazardous materials shipments following DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and patients
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL preferred but not required
- Experience in medical logistics or healthcare transportation preferred
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
