Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and critical supplies to/from hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and chain-of-custody procedures
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Complete accurate documentation and electronic tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 1 year medical courier or logistics experience
- Proficiency with electronic tracking systems and mobile devices
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate all weather conditions
- Understanding of biohazard handling and OSHA standards
- Background check and drug screen required
