Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and critical documents using company-provided equipment
- Maintain precise delivery logs and documentation with real-time tracking updates
- Adhere to strict temperature control protocols for sensitive materials
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for seamless pickup/delivery scheduling
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections as per company protocol
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards at all times
- Resolve delivery challenges proactively while maintaining service excellence
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid NY driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to operate temperature-controlled containers and tracking devices
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling procedures
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Reliable transportation to/from designated depot (equipment provided for routes)
- Background check and drug screening required
