Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient confidentiality
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/delivery scheduling
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness of transport equipment
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions in real-time to dispatch center
- Complete specialized training in biohazard handling and emergency protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
