Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and biohazard safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Complete accurate documentation and electronic tracking for each delivery
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical facilities and patients
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with flexibility and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Experience in medical transport, logistics, or healthcare support role
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and biohazard handling procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with mobile technology and delivery tracking systems
- Background check and drug screening required
