Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and sensitive healthcare materials using climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody protocols and HIPAA compliance during all transfers
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs
- Complete detailed documentation and electronic tracking for each shipment
- Communicate proactively with healthcare facilities regarding delivery status and exceptions
- Perform vehicle safety checks and routine maintenance to ensure operational readiness
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and schedule adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
