Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely local delivery and pick-up of cargo using company vans.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and security of items.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating a commercial vehicle.
- Manage time efficiently to adhere to scheduled delivery windows and routes.
- Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point, including signing for packages and obtaining signatures.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a valid State Driver's License.
- A clean driving record (no DUIs, reckless driving, or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-100 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning software.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
