Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently, utilizing GPS and maps.
- Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and paperwork.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving box trucks or cargo vans.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of Detroit and the greater Michigan area.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
